Consulting Engineer / Technical Consultant--Guangzhou

Job Description

We have an outstanding career opportunityfor a successful Technical Consultant, located in Guangzhou,China.

Position Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the delivery of services to CommVault’s clients
• Responsible for delivery of consulting services throughout allphases of the customer / project life-cycle from conception, planning,implementation and through to Post-Implementation.
  

Position Requirements include:

• Bachelor Degreeor equivalent
• Microsoft Certifications / Networking in general
• Unix / Linux / certifications
• Experience in deploying software products, team player
• Proven Consulting Experience
• Strong consulting and customer relations skills as well as goodwritten, verbal and technical skills in the area of storage and data protectionsoftware product(s) implementation.
• Familiarity with base project management concepts
• Driven by quality-of-service in its services deliveries toCommVault’s clients
• Willingness to travel, either within or outside its main regionof responsibility.
• Technical knowledge and experience of at least three of thefollowing areas:
  

        GoodHands-on technical experience with storage related solutions (Netapp,DataDomain, EMC, HDS, etc.)
        Goodhands-on knowledge of hardware platforms (HP, IBM, Dell, Etc.)
        ExcellentHands-on knowledge of an enterprise application (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Notes,etc.)
        Goodhands-on knowledge of libraries (ADIC, Quantum, STK, IBM, HP, etc.)
        Hands-onknowledge of TCP/IP networking (and possibly WAN technologies)
        Goodhands-on knowledge of any or all of the following: Windows/Unix/Linux
        GoodHands-on knowledge with backup and recovery products (Galaxy, Veritas,Symantec, EMC, etc.)
        Familiaritywith one or more of C++/Java/C#/Perl/Python,be able to use such languages to develop small web application.
        Familiarity with daily maintenance of SQLserver and SQL-Based software development.
