Position Title: OnSite IT Support Engineer
Location: Tanggu
Overall Purpose or Function of Position:
OnSite IT Support Engineer is the second point of escalation for the resolution of customer PC related incidents, requests or changes as per the established Service Level Agreements (SLA). This individual is considered an “expert” in Onsite IT support.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex PC incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN incidents.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change).
• Work closely with Server and WAN Connectivity teams.
• Hardware & software maintenance and support.
• Coordinate with 3rd Party Vendor for Break/Fix hardware repair.
• Perform remote site visits
• Perform User IT-related Trainings
• Work on IT security issue and virus eradication effort.
• Maintain Asset Management
Education Required:
BS Degree of Computer Science (or related major), and 2 years IT support experience
Technical Skills Required:
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft PC applications.
• In-depth knowledge of PC hardware and software support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex PC hardware and software incidents.
• Knowledge and understanding of Voice and Data communication system required.
• Have a good understanding of IT Security systems.
• Have a good understanding on Microsoft Active Directory, Servers
Certifications:
• MCP certification required
• CCNA certification required
Additional general requirements:
• Fluency in written and spoken English a must
• Ability to write technical support documentation
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Willing to work flexible hours when appropriate
• Ability to handle projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure
