Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 2)  + DB2 V8。2 or V9。0

安裝DB2后，不能創(chuàng)建實例.使用./db2icrt -s ese -u db2fenc  db2inst1創(chuàng)建時，發(fā)生如下錯誤。

如果啟用了DPF的話，還要檢查.rhosts 或 host.equiv 文件。

有道理。正常情況下db2icrt成功后才會有db2nodes.cfg。


樓主說一下./db2icrt -u db2fenc1 db2inst1后報錯是什么？

檢查你的patch是否都打全，如果有漏打得patch，即使裝上了db2程序，db2icrt和create das的時候都會有問題

問題描述:


當(dāng)用戶在版本 8 的 Solaris 上進(jìn)行 8 版本 DB2 的安裝時，如果安裝過程中選擇了創(chuàng)建實例的操作，當(dāng)安裝結(jié)束后，檢查安裝日志，有時會發(fā)現(xiàn)如下信息：

此時如果嘗試手動創(chuàng)建實例，即以 root 用戶在 /opt/IBM/db2/V8.1 下使用 db2icrt 命令創(chuàng)建實例時，同樣會遇到上述報錯。


解答:

查閱 8 版本 DB2 的“ 快速入門手冊” 中關(guān)于 Solais 平臺上的安裝描述可以看到，在 Solaris 版本 8 上安裝 DB2 時，要求操作系統(tǒng)起碼要同時安裝有補丁 108434- 03 和 108528- 12。如果在安裝了其它操作系統(tǒng)的補丁之后，DB2的某些相關(guān)操作，如創(chuàng)建實例，遇到上述 “DBI1282E，errcode=139”的錯誤時，則可以嘗試安裝 Solaris 操作系統(tǒng)的補丁 108827-35 以解決問題。

對于上述我們遇到的客戶創(chuàng)建實例時的問題，在安裝了操作系統(tǒng)補丁 108827-35 之后就解決了。

不過RHAS4的補丁倒是應(yīng)該考慮打全了再說。

For SHMMAX, the minimum required on x86 systems would be 268435456 (256 MB) and for 64-bit systems, it would be 1073741824 (1 GB).

MSGMAX should be change to 64 KB (that is, 65535 bytes), and MSGMNB should be increased to 65535 on Server systems.
