求救！SQL語句，十萬火急！

請問我要用ISQL刪除一個數(shù)據(jù)庫，里面前10天的記錄，用DELETE該怎么刪除？
環(huán)境：SCO UNIX、INFORMIX

我用這個命令不得行：delete from where date="2006/10/01-2006/10/10"

delete from tab where datecol between '11/10/2006'  -10 and '11/10/2006'
