Job Description
Summary We are looking for a storage engineer tojoin in our storage & server support team. We support SAN and Netappstorage, Veritas cluster, and Solaris & Linux OS. Ourteam support hundreds of PB storage and thousands of servers. We will work veryclosely with Oracle database team.
The ideal candidatewill have experiences understanding of the products we support. In ourenvironment, support quality is everyone’s responsibility, exceptional carefulnesswill be critical for success.
Primary job responsibilities •Support SAN(Hitachi) storage,including whole life-cycle support and work with vendors •Support NetApp storage •Support Veritas cluster •Support Solaris & Linux hosts
Job requirements • Minimum 2 years hands on knowledge of SAN storage • Minimum 1 year experiences working in 24x7 environment • Be proactive and self-directed work stylewith minimum supervision • Experience with very large production storage (1 PB+) • Excellent English written and oral communication skills • Develop experiences on Java / Go / Python is a big plus
