Job Summary   
The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is looking for an automation Quality Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will focus on testing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Atomic Host (RHAH). You'll create test plans, research new features, and develop automated test scripts. You will also perform acceptance, function, regression, integration, and performance testing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Atomic Host (RHAH). We'll need you to have a passion for testing, scripting, and examining how things work internally.   
        
Primary Job Responsibilities   
Research new features and test plan development   
Develop, review, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases, both manual and automatic   
Carry out automated test scripts; analyze and summarize the testing results   
Analyze, report, and track defects   
Operate automated test tools and debug software problems   
Work on continuous integration (CI) testing   
        
Required Skills   
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience or master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience   
3+ years of solid Linux experience   
3+ years of professional experience in software testing; development experience is a plus   
2+ years of scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Python     
Familiarity with a wide variety of operating system components, especially kernels     
Motivated with the ability to work under deadline pressure   
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills   
Professional experience with virtualization is an advantage
