Job Title:
Platform Engineer
General Purpose:
Work as Platform Engineer in LBS R&D team, responsible for the design, implementation and operational management of the NLS (Nokia Location server) system and associated infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will have in depth knowledge of the system architecture and configurations required to design, implement and support hardware infrastructure systems and NLS applications.
Main Responsibility Areas:
• Develop, maintain, and support the technical infrastructure, hardware and system software components, Storage Area Networks, Network.
• Perform system level problem isolation and resolution (i.e. Apply knowledge and experience to determine root cause and solution)
• Is responsible for sharing knowledge in his/her expertise area.
• Give input to continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
• Strong knowledge in working on Linux Operating system.
• Demonstrated ability to design, configure, deploy and maintain HP enterprise class servers including Blade systems such as the HP C7000 or similar systems is required.
• Advanced practical knowledge of SAN technology and experience in managing storage systems
Experience or Knowledge of IP Networking (VLANs, Routing, and Switch etc.)
• Knowledge of script languages, like Shell, Python and Tcl script,
• Strong system level troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Fluent spoken and written English skill
• Master (2+ years’ experience) or Bachelor (3+ years’ experience) degree in S/W engineering, Computer science or Telecommunication

Software Test Engineer
General Purpose:
Nokia is one of the leading telecommunication equipments and solutions providers. You will work as a software test engineer in Location team and create location based service (LBS) products that serving the largest telecom carriers around the world. You will be responsible for S/W Test Case (Manual and TA) Design, Implementation and Integration & Verification.
Main Responsibility Areas:
- Overall test responsibility of assigned entities (e.g. features)
- Design and execute test items in own area
- Participate test work effort estimation and deliverable review in own area
- Perform system level problem isolation (i.e. Apply knowledge and experience to determine problematic
component)
- Give input to continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Master (1+ years’ experience) or Bachelor (1+ years’ experience) degree in S/W engineering, Computer science or Telecommunication
Preferred qualifications
- Solid S/W Testing knowledge and experience.
- Deep understanding on the focus of each level testing
- Solid system level troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- ATDD and Test Automation experience (e.g. Robot framework) is a plus
- Good DB (e.g. Oracle), Linux/Unix, ClearCase/SVN knowledge and experience and script languages is a plus
- Good Agile and Iterative S/W development experience is a plus
- Telecommunication knowledge is a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English skill
