Job Title:
Software Engineer
General Purpose:
Work as Software Engineer in OSS R&D team, responsible for S/W Design, Implementation, Integration & Verification, and S/W Maintenance. Co-operate with other function teams to make sure the software can be delivered on time with high quality under agile operation mode in Network Management domain.
Main Responsibility Areas:
- Overall dev and/or test responsibility of assigned areas (e.g. features)
- Plans, designs and executes items in own area.
- Participate work effort estimation and deliverable review in own area.
- Perform system level problem isolation and resolution (i.e. Apply knowledge and experience to
determine root cause and solution)
- Is responsible for sharing knowledge in his/her expertise area.
- Give input to continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Solid Java programming knowledge and experience
- Good DB (e.g. Oracle), Linux/Unix, ClearCase/SVN knowledge and experience
- Agile and Iterative S/W development experience
- Strong system level troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of script languages, like Perl, Shell, Python script
- S/W Testing experience is a plus
- Telecommunication and network management (e.g. TMN, SNMP, Web Service) knowledge is a plus
- (A)TDD and Test automation experience is a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English skill
- Master (1+ years’ experience) or Bachelor (1+ years’ experience) degree in S/W engineering, Computer science or Telecommunication

Job Title:
Software testing Engineer
General Purpose:
Work as Software Testing Engineer in OSS R&D team, responsible for Integration & Verification, run and check automatic test cases. Co-operate with other function teams to make sure the software can be delivered on time with high quality under agile operation mode in Network Management domain.
Main Responsibility Areas:
-Integration and verification between network elements and Netact. Ensures that NE O&M functionalities are working like specified (meets the requirements)
-Test automation scripts development.
-Test planning and design
-Test case specification (including inspection, workshop, task force type of work)
-Improvement laboratory, testability activities and working processes
-Support local and international customers remotely or on-site.
Key Requirements:
-Extensive verification experience of Java/C++/Shell/Python/Perl software
-Test automation experience with Robot Framework, Selenium and Jenkins is preferred.
-Extensive experience with Database(such as Oracle),XML and Linux/UNIX
-Experience with Agile/Scrum,iterative development process etc. is preferred
-Experience with telecom network elements or telecom network management systems is a plus
-Basic knowledge of mobile communication
-Fluent written and spoken English

Software Development/testing Engineer, Virtualization and Cloud Computing
General Purpose:

Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
At least 1 year with Bachelor or Master degree working experience, including large systems software design and development, with knowledge of UNIX/Linux and programming experience in Java.
Preferred qualifications
MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Good experience in Java, JavaScript development.
Extensive testing automation experience with Robot Framework, Selenium and Jenkins is a plus.
Experience with Tomcat, Jetty, J2EE/JBoss, Liferay/portlet, Websphere, web service, SOAP, REST, XML.
Experience with message middlewares (RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ,etc), and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle, etc.)
Experience with log4j, Maven, SVN and Eclipse
Experience with scripting languages (Bash/Perl/Python/Ruby, etc) and common Linux OS commands.
Experience with virtualization and cloud computing, VMware vSphere/vCloud integration and development SDK
Experience with telecom network elements and telecom network management systems
Experience with Agile, iterative development process, and test automation
Fluent written and spoken English |
