Participate in technical discussions and take charge of design and construction of J2EE platform components and application on JFP platform.
Interface with Business and Requirements team on functional analysis. Walk through requirements with team to ensure that they are clear, concise and testable. (For T level only)
Provide technical Leadership to programmers and lead a team to develop complex, hi-volume, self-service internet applications.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.
Support the Quality Assurance team during Product Test phase and business during System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test phases.
Support implementation of new development methodologies in the Agile spectrum to transform development processes.
Assist team in resolving the problems in the internet based applications.
Find ways to improve the design of the existing programs and optimize performance
Qualification:
12+ years working experience in IT industry with at least 4+ years team lead experience.
7~8+ years working experience in IT industry with at least 1+ year team lead experience.
Extensive and strong technical background with Java,J2EE, Struts, Struts2,Spring, Spring Web Flow, JQuery, Javascript, CSS and Tiles. HTML5 is a plus.
Has deep understanding on Java & J2EE design pattern, design philosophy. Familiar with SDLC of both waterfall and agile.
Hands-on experience with RAD or Eclipse, AIX, ClearCase and Maven. Experience with use case, user story and IBM RTC is a plus.
Candidate should be honest, integrity, matured character, self manageable and driven and work with initiative.
Be able to act and behave properly in an internationalized company. Be confident and able to hold their own in meetings and reviews. Be able to work with minimal supervision and open to early morning or late evening calls to communicate with different countries time-zone.
Excellent verbal and written English skill is mandatory and preferable with internet banking experience.
Good EQ and able to work under pressure.
Possess high degree of technical competency to design and develop internet applications using cutting-edge tools and technologies
Remains abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards
