Job Description - Associated Principle QA Engineer for IIG AX Team
We are looking for Associated Principle QA Engineer (APE) work in the AX (ApplicationXtender) Team in EMC IIG division, responsible for overseeing functional and regression testing of ApplicationXtender Product. You will drive the testing strategy of projects across a variety of environments encompassing the latest windows technology. You will participate in test case design, and execution for particularly challenging projects. Associated Principle QA Engineer will serve as primary technical point of contact, and mediate software defects and regression exercises with development.
Job Responsibilities

•        Writes high level design specs, unit test plans and integration test plans.
•        Represents the organization on project teams and may perform technical leadership roles.
•        Sphere of influence is likely to extend outside of work group or department.
•        Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
•        Develops new software engineering methods or processes, re-evaluate existing processes.
•        Develops automated test scripts UI testing tools.
•        Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively.
•        Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools.
Qualifications
•        Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
•        5+ years working in Quality Assurance or Product Development.
•        Experience in the entire software product life cycle: Development, QA and Release management
•        Proven experience with QA automation including Windows Application and Web based UI testing.
•        Knowledge in building automation and continuous Integration with .NET platform.
•        Practical experience in performance testing and improvement work.
•        Strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
•        Fundamental understanding in .Net technologies including C#, WCF, WPF, ASP.Net.
•        Fundamental understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
•        Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Desired skills
•        Highly motivated, detail oriented, creative, and attracted to a challenging opportunity
•        Knowledge in Agile methodology, such as XP and SCRUM
•        Experience in VMware and AD management
