HP VA磁盤陣列-安裝步驟

安裝VA磁盤陣列時，必須首先format磁盤陣列，具體步驟如下：
VA7100/VA7110
1．通過串口執(zhí)行vfpfmt
2．執(zhí)行dsp –s 查看VA信息
3．如果VA是與switch相連，要執(zhí)行mgr –t 2 –c 1/2 將private修改為public
4．執(zhí)行mgr –S 2 –c 1/2，將速率修改為2GB
5．初始化完成后注意通過更改磁盤陣列的RAID級別（armmgr –C）
6．如果用光纖switch,要在前改變VA7100的loop topology to fabric
7．劃分LUN時，先建一個20MLUN0,保持這個LUN不要使用。
8．劃分LUN后進行一次重起測試
9．在創(chuàng)建VG前，要查明哪條路徑是主路徑（在機器背面看，VA7100左邊的控制器c1是主控制器）
10．創(chuàng)建VG時要保證主路徑的盤在前面
a.Using a terminal connected directly to VA, issue the command vfpmgr –ds {on|off}. Then an “ioscan” will display the LUN which are still visible when the secondary controller is disabled
b.Using the “SDM” v1.05, the command “armmgr –S {on|off} will also do the same function.
VA7400/VA7410
1．首先給主盤箱加電（斷開主盤箱與子盤箱連接光纖）
2．通過串口執(zhí)行vfpfmt
3．初始化完成后關閉主盤箱
4．連接主盤箱與子盤箱之間的光纖
5．分別給子盤箱加電
6．全部硬盤加電完成后給主盤箱加電
7．VA7400會自動將其余子盤箱的硬盤格式化為520byte/sector
8．在子盤箱硬盤格式化完成之前不要繼續(xù)其他操作（約需30-60分鐘）
9．如果用光纖switch,要在前改變VA7100的loop topology to fabric
10.初始化完成后注意通過更改磁盤陣列的RAID級別（armmgr –C）
11．劃分LUN時，先建一個20MLUN0, 保持這個LUN不要使用（第一次做的時候就忘記了）
12．幫助客戶劃分LUN，保證VA7400的兩個group的負載均衡（和客戶商量， 按VA7400的Service Manual操作）
13．劃分LUN后注意進行一次重起測試
14．在創(chuàng)建VG前，要查明哪條路徑是主路徑（VA7400左邊的控制器c1是groupA的主控制器，VA7400右邊的控制器c2是groupB的主控制器）

15．創(chuàng)建VG時要保證主路徑的盤在前面!!!
二、操作
16．關機時最好先執(zhí)行armmgr –s shut 或vfpmgr –s shut，然后再關閉電源開關
17．Service之前請先備份armdsp –a信息
18．更換硬盤之前先執(zhí)行armdsp –a觀察磁盤陣列狀態(tài)，是否有其它報錯存在
19．若發(fā)現(xiàn)異常報錯，不要急于重起，與響應中心聯(lián)系
