Position Software Engineer
Job Title: Software Engineer
Experience: 2 – 4 years
Level: Mid Level/Expertise
Location: Guangzhou, China
Responsibilities:
* Depending on educational background and experience, this may involve any of
the following software development lifecycle activities - user requirements
specification, system analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, etc.
* Provide analytical and technical computational services for the research,
development, and maintenance of the engineering analysis codes that underpin the
company advantaged products
* Support teammates and external clients in the technical use of software
products developed within the Software Solutions Practice
* Assist teammates in the use of engineering and analytical methods
* Assist project management by providing informed design and/or effort
estimates asneeded
* Support business development activities as needed
* Must be able to adhere to development standards and assist in best-practices
as needed
* Must be able to adhere to attendance policy and work within product
development timelines
Skill Profiles:
* B.S. or higher degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a
related field
* Minimum of four years of software development experience if without a B.S.
degree
* Familiar with J2EE platform
* Expertise with Object Oriented design and prepare analysis
documents/development specification to the developer
* Expertise wit relational database (MySQL/Oracle/DB2/Sybase) or XML
database
* 3-5 years experience developing software or IT-related solutions to
engineering or computationally intensive problems
Software Developer
Job Title: software developer
Experience: 0 – 2 years
Level: Entry Level/Fresher
Location: Guangzhou, China
Responsibilities:
* Create software components that follow industry-standard design patterns,
development methodologies, and deployment models
* Participate in requirements gathering, specification, project planning
* Design, write, test, debug, profile, manage, and document modern reliable
applications using modular components and quality source code
* Work closely with other teammates to design and develop robust software
components
* Provide as needed technical expertise to peer developers and client support
staff
* Keep updating the technical knowledge and learn to use the popular
commercial products or open source products.
Skill Profiles:
* B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related
field
* Minimum of two years of software development experience if without a B.S.
degree
* Experience working with Java platform (Java/JSP/Servlet/Eclipse)
* Experience working with relational database (MySQL/Oracle/DB2/Sybase) or XML
database
* Expertise with Web development (HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX/IIS/Apache/Tomcat,
etc.)
* Familiar with SQL and XML
* Experience working with Object Oriented design and development
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with a diverse team
