有關(guān)在VMware 4.0 下安裝unix 5.05。

在VMware 4.0 下安裝unix 5.05 ，我的機器配置是P4 1.8A  256M。我是按照如下步驟進
行安裝的：
1：軟件準備：從http://www.mylex.com/pub/multimaster/mmunix.exe 下載，執(zhí)行mmunix.exe
解壓縮，用unix.exe生成blc軟盤。
2：用VMware 4.0 生成other模式系統(tǒng)
scsi 0:0 hd >;=500M
ide 0:0 hd
ide 0:1 cdrom
3: 啟動other, F2設(shè)置軟驅(qū)啟動
1) power on
2) edit->;removable disk->;floppy->;edit->;選擇image或者軟盤, connected
3) 系統(tǒng)啟動到 boot: link<回車>;
4) 提示 What packages do you need linked in the system, or q to quit?: blc<回車>;
5) 提示Please insert the fd(60)blc volume and press <Return>;, or 'q' to quit:
插入blc軟盤
edit->;removable disk->;floppy->;disconnect, edit->;軟盤, connected 回車

提示詢問:append, 或者覆蓋，選擇 a
提示blc: Driver "blc" successfully loaded.
           character major = 6
至此blc驅(qū)動應(yīng)該是安裝正確的。

至次屏幕顯示結(jié)果如下：

blc: Driver “blc”successfully loaded.
      Character Major = 6
Warning: Memory excessively fragmented (inuse map full)
Warning: Memory excessively fragmented (inuse map full)
Insert the Boot Dist and press <Return>;

在安裝blc 成功后，顯示插入Boot Disk，插入Boot Disk后，不管是使用軟盤還是install.img
文件都會顯示：

loading ram disk image fd(64)rootFS
Warning: Memory excessively fragmented (inuse map full)
Cannot find superblock : Cannot load image

還有一個問題，在啟動安裝過程中，每一過程都會出現(xiàn)
Warning: Memory excessively fragmented (inuse map full)
這是安裝的說明文章中從沒提到過的。

我詳細寫出我的安裝問題，就是要讓各位看得明白，以便分析確認問題的結(jié)癥所在。請各位
高手幫忙了，在此先表感謝。回復(fù)請詳細一些，我是一個初學(xué)者。

出現(xiàn)： "memory excessively fragmented", 后可在
“boot:”處鍵入
“mem=1m-16m,16m-<系統(tǒng)全部內(nèi)存>;m/n”
（用實際系統(tǒng)全部內(nèi)存值替換掉“<系統(tǒng)全部內(nèi)存>;”）
然后再出現(xiàn) boot時再繼續(xù)進行

感謝ershui ，我總算到了提示開始安裝啦。但新新的問題有出來了，
回車后，在安裝過程中提示:
Starting Initial System load from:floppy disk

error Initializing access to device /dev/install;
There may be the BIOS setup ploblem
or other hardware configurtion error at that device.
press <enter>; to continue.

回車后出現(xiàn)
**safe to power off**
            -or-
**press any key to reboot **

我翻看了以前的帖子 ，據(jù)說是光驅(qū)沒有配置好，我可是按照安裝說明中進行配置的：
scsi 0:0 hd >;=500M
ide 0:0 hd
ide 0:1 cdrom

同時我有試驗在cdrom上使用了*.iso文件，其結(jié)果仍是如此。我的問題究竟出在那，我很急，請安裝過的高手幫幫忙。

光驅(qū)下面的enable  raw access是否打上了勾勾呢？
而且好象還要再加一個IDE硬盤！不然好象不認SCSI硬盤的喲！

這個鉤，我打了。在加一個硬盤？那我再試試。
但如果使用*.iso文件，就沒有這個選項。
