Oracle China R&D System Administrator：
Provide Software development engineering lab direct support for multiple products on multiple platforms. Provide technical and project leadership for lab team. Document, improve, and automate lab processes to increase efficiencies, resource utilization and reliability.
Expertise in Unix, especially Solaris and/or Linux. Proficiency in shell scripting,Perl, or expect for automation of regular tasks. Proficiency in layer 1-4 network protocols, including NFS, DNS and NIS, network administration, network design, major network vendor equipment, network management and capacity planning. Strong host and network security practices. SunCluster, Sun Hardware and QA experience is highly desirable.
Daily responsibilities include improving network and host uptime performance. Decisions made will potentially impact hundreds of systems critical in Business Unit product delivery. Position will work in strong team environment requiring communications and changing roles to exploit team's individual expertise and talents. Ability to help develop and progress global lab standards that is aligned with customer business needs is expected in this role.
Standard office applications. Spreadsheets, presentations, word processor. Sigma experience/ training, Product Life Cycle experience or training a plus; Work process design, improvement and project management skills desirable. Good writing skills. Effective customer interaction skills.
Experience 5+ years relevant experience in large enterprise environment.

Document, improve, and automate lab processes to increase efficiencies and resource utilization. Six Sigma, ITSM, or work process management experience a plus.
