在進(jìn)行sp_plan_dbccdb時，我覺得系統(tǒng)是根據(jù)某庫所占有的設(shè)備數(shù)來給出number of worker processes 的推薦值，比如你的生產(chǎn)庫使用了7個設(shè)備，那么將給出number of worker processes為7的推薦值！但是實(shí)際上你可以多配點(diǎn)，也可以相應(yīng)的少配點(diǎn)，另外配置改參數(shù)需要reboot ASE，所以不可輕易在生產(chǎn)環(huán)境中進(jìn)行修改！另外，在配置命名緩存時也需要進(jìn)行reboot server!

I performed all commands needed for creating dbccdb for pubs2.
Why do I have the following error message?
I used "sp_dbcc_evaluatedb" to check and every thing seemed to be ok.

很明顯,你們的worker processes 不足!

請問各位大師們:
1.dbcc checkstorage帶不帶fix功能?
2.如果我的系統(tǒng)完全能容忍我任意執(zhí)行dbcc checkdb,dbcc checkalloc且我對輸出內(nèi)容的保存方式不敏感的話,dbcc checkstorage還比dbcc checkdb,dbcc checkalloc優(yōu)越嗎?

I solved my problem after your hint.
bigbug99, you can use following command to increase the number of worker process.

1>; sp_configure "number of worker processes", 1
2>; go

Configuration option changed. Since the option is static, Adaptive Server must be rebooted in order for the change to take effect.
