Job Title: Sr. Consultant (BI Platform Developer)
Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology (Dimension, Fact, OLAP, ETL, Data Mart)
· 3-5 years of BI experience, MicroStrategy BA/BS in computer science or related field.
· Microstrategy is strong plus (MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Congos, Oracle BIEE, Hyperion, SAS, etc )
· Experience with RDBMS & DW with Strong SQL (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, etc.)
· Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
· Programming experience (Java, JavaScript, .NET, C/C++, etc.)
· Excellent troubleshooting skills are essential.
· Ability to work independently
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Minimum of 3 years Cognos development experience (Report Studio & Framework Manager& Transformer are required)
Rich experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Model ,Package concepts and methods
Rich experience with ETL development, Proficient in SQL Programming, experience of Datastage or CastIron is a plus.
Strong technical skills in Java
Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
