Job Summary
The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for automation quality engineers for Red Hat Virtualization testing. As a Quality Engineer, you will be participate in creating test plans, researching new features, and developing automated test scripts. You will also perform acceptance, function, regression, integration, and performance testing on the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization products. Key Responsibilities:
* New feature research and test plan development
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test cases (both manual and automatic)
* Review automated test scripts and test cases (both manual and automatic)
* Execute automated test scripts, analyze and summarize the testing results
* Analyze, report, and track defects
* Debug software problems
* Operate automated test tools
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years working experience or Master's degree with at least 2 years working experience
* Solid skills and background in Linux for at least 3 years
* At least 2 years working experience in software testing or development experience, development experience is a plus.
* Working experience in virtualization area is a plus
* Solid scripting experience in bash, perl, or python for at least 2 years
* Familiar with a wide variety of components of Operating Systems (Kernels specifically)
* Self motivated and ability to work under pressure

Job Summary
The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for engineers to
search for, analyze, report, track defects and verify bug fixes in the
Linux kernel. We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong
technical skills. You must be a flexible self-starter who can come up to
speed quickly with new technologies and can adapt to a growing and
evolving team.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and analyze bugs; write regression test cases according to the
patch(es)
- Finding kernel testing gaps and investigate/create test plans for
kernel functions
- Investigating kernel new features
- Debugging software problems
- Run existing test cases and analyze results
Job Requirements
- Strong skills and background in Linux
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical skills
- Adequate knowledge in linux kernel
- Familiar with C/shell programming
- Strong passion and desire for testing and examining how things work internally
