NBU備份OS時(shí)，job detail中會(huì)skipping掉一些文件，請(qǐng)問哪位大俠知道skipping的原則是什么？哪種類型的文件會(huì)備份skipping掉？原理又是什么？非常感謝，坐等。。

一般是系統(tǒng)保護(hù)文件。需要通過system_Status備份。

我備份OS的時(shí)候發(fā)現(xiàn)job detail中報(bào)類似：[/home] is in a different file system from [/]. Skipping。。但是備份完成后查看發(fā)現(xiàn)/home是備了的，但是有一些也是類似這樣被skipping，就真的沒有備份了。
疑問1：job detail中報(bào)/home 和/ 不同file system。是什么意思？因?yàn)槲以?etc/fstab中看到/home和/都是reiserfs啊。
疑問2：還有一些被報(bào)是由于is a socket special file. Skipping，這又是什么東東。

請(qǐng)大俠講解原理��？

你的問題是選項(xiàng)不對(duì)導(dǎo)致的。應(yīng)該將cross mount的屬性選中。

What files will NetBackup automatically exclude during backup?

Solution

Question/Issue:
·    There are several files/paths NetBackup will not backup by default
·    ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES will exclude some files
·    Using / in backup selections will not back up some files
Symptoms:
·    Unable to locate certain files for restore
·    Full restore of client operating system may not include all expected files
·    Solaris 10 client will not boot after full restore from global zone backup completed
Conditions:

A NetBackup file system backup of a client will automatically skip certain files.

Cause:

Some operating system files either cannot be backed up or have little value if backed up.  Other configuration options intentionally exclude certain files to avoid redundant backup.

Answer/Resolution:

By default, NetBackup does not back up the following file or file types:
· NFS files or directories, unless you set Follow NFS. These files are likely backed up by the home host.
· Files or directories in a different file system if you do not set Cross Mount Points or include those mount points in
· Files or directories with path lengths longer than 1023 characters.
· Files or directories where the operating system does not return inode information (the lstat system call failed).
· Directories that NetBackup cannot access (cannot use the cd command to access).
· On a disk managed by Storage Migrator, migrated files or directories where Storage Migrator does not return inode information (mig_stat fails). Note that NetBackup Server does not support Storage Migrator.
· Socket special files (named pipes are backed up).
· Door files
· Locked files when mandatory locking is enabled by an application that currently has the file open.
· Busy files. If a file is open, NetBackup backs up the last saved version of the file.
NetBackup automatically excludes the following file system types on most platforms:
· cdrom (all UNIX/Linux platforms)
· cachefs (AIX, Solaris, SGI, UnixWare)
· devpts (Linux)
· mntfs (Solaris)
· proc (UNIX/Linux platforms; does not exclude automatically for AIX, so /proc must be added manually to exclude list. If not added manually, partially successful backups may result when using the ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES directive on AIX)
· tmpfs (Linux)
· usbdevfs
