Solutions Consultant(Req No. 001933)

Focus on Revenue generating with:
• Presales role as solution specialist and solution owner, provide country-wide support on assigned solution scoping
• Bonus measured by country SW revenue and owned solution SW target
• Solution champion to lead the country technical direction, solution/product management on technical matters (knowledge management and transfer, competitive analysis, quotation/configuration review, direct customer engagement/support….), Go To Market strategy study and develop.
• Solution messenger to communicate/align with APAC/Cop. related resource to deliver company's messaging, enable and train account team on solutions, provide support for product marketing
• By direct engagement with customer, both directly or as part of the Hitachi customer-facing team, work with account sales/presales team to deliver technical solution consulting/proposal for customer, discover customer pain point and deliver business/application aligned solution to end-user
• Can demonstrate storage solutions, hands on POC on demand(SW only) for assigned solution scoping
• To be local solution engagement portal for solution organization, work with local sales/presales team for broadly solution engagement(not only for the assigned solution scoping) and development, include solution opportunities discovery/assessment, help to build pipeline, customer visiting and opportunity qualifying, may ask for 1st tier solution support based on skill set.
• Develop and sustain appropriate customer relationships in strategic farming account to establish the strategic IT needs and how they can be satisfied by Hitachi solutions offerings
• Candidates will be prioritized if has similar experience/skill set on the targeted solution scoping
Qualification:
Targeted solution scoping:
Major target(at least 1 for necessary)
• Storage virtualization solution & related SW, tiered storage infrastructure planning
• High-end storage and modular storage solution
• Unified computing platform solution
Minor target(At least 1 for necessary)
• Data backup solutions, include VTL, OEM backup management and non storage -based replication solution
• Microsoft/VMware alliance solutions
• Business continuity and data replication solutions(optional)
• NAS or Data archiving solution(optional)
Necessary if candidate locate in GZ or SH:
• Local solution engagement portal for GZ or SH (depends on the locations)
